懷孕期間不能吃中藥？ 癌症病人不能吃中藥？ 感冒初起不能吃中藥？ 常常聽到有人這麼說，甚至有些醫療人員也這麼說，但其實說出這樣的話的人應該就是對中藥一知半解，甚至是無知當先知的人。
其實中藥的種類和用途繁多，雖然有些確實帶有毒性，誤服了會對懷孕的婦女和胎兒有害處，但中藥當中不乏有安胎、補益的功能，可以助長胎兒的成長，和令懷孕的過程更加順暢。

冬灸是天灸的一種，是在一年中最寒冷的日子進行灸治，「三九」是冬至後的第三個九天，在三九天前後是一年中最寒冷的時候，很適宜用辛熱的藥物敷貼於穴位上，維護身體的正氣來抵禦疾病，或治療各種寒性疾病如咳喘、泄瀉、風濕骨痛等病。曾接受三伏天天灸的人士，尤其適合於三九天作加強治療。
