Mr. Kerry Fung, Registered Physiotherapist
Mr. Kerry Fung graduated from The Hong Kong Polytechnic
University (formerly the Hong Kong Polytechnic). With a diversity of clinical
interests and a broad range of post-graduate qualifications in various forms of Manual Therapy and
Manipulative Physiotherapy, Sports Physiotherapy, Acupuncture, Chinese Medicine, BodyTalk and Osteopathy, he has shown his sheer determination in providing
holistic care to his clients, both physically and psychologically. Throughout
his clinical career as a physiotherapist, he has been offering his helping hand
to people from all walks of life, including office workers, manual workers,
athletes, dancers, theatrical actors, people with occupational injuries and
chronic pain syndromes, the elderly, babies, children and adolescents with growth and
postural problems, women with gynaecological and obstetrical problems and many
others.
Mr. Fung is dedicated to maintaining the high standard of physiotherapy practices
in Hong Kong. He serves as a Member of the Physiotherapists Board of Hong Kong and
is currently the
Chairman of its Registration Committee. He is also a key player in a number of professional,
academic and voluntary service organizations. He was formerly the Vice President
of the Hong Kong Physiotherapy Association (HKPA) and Chairman of its Sports
Physiotherapy Specialty Group, Executive Council Member of the Hong Kong
Association of Sports Medicine and Sports Science (HKASMSS), and currently
Chairman, Executive Committee Member and Officer of many voluntary service organizations. He is a
frequently invited speaker and lecturer at important events of various professional organizations, including
the HKPA, HKASMSS, Hong Kong St. John Ambulance, Trailwalker Charitable Trust
(Oxfam), The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong Polytechnic University.
With his devotion to educating professionals and the general public, he
has established the Institute of Holistic Healthcare and is currently Dean of the Institute.
