Systemic Orthopedic Balancing (SOB) is a dynamic three-day course tailored for healthcare professionals, including physical therapists, massage therapists, athletic therapists, osteopaths, and medical doctors. This course equips participants with an innovative systemic approach to musculoskeletal evaluation and treatment.
SOB introduces the Total Body Screening Examination, a pivotal tool that guides practitioners in determining the need for a systemic approach. By focusing on the entire musculoskeletal system, including muscles, fascia, joints, capsules, and ligaments, participants learn a five-phase treatment approach.

A Fundamental skill that every physiotherapist should master
Aims: To educate physiotherapists, or other healthcare professionals if appropriate, to develop knowledge and To educate physiotherapists, or other healthcare professionals if appropriate, to develop knowledge and skills in Orthopaedic Manipulative Therapy (OMT) focusing on clinical reasoning, skill development and clinical application.
Objectives: Upon completion of the Scheme, the student should be able to utilise the principles of orthopaedic manUpon completion of the Scheme, the student should be able to utilise the principles of orthopaedic manipulative therapy (manipulative physiotherapy) and to perform assessment and manipulation of the spine and peripheral joints safely and effectively, in the treatment of musculoskeletal problems.
The program will span over 8 months, with 15 hours of face to face teaching over a weekend every The program will span over 8 months, with 14 hours of face to face teaching over a weekend every month. Students can have sufficient time between classes to consolidate their knowledge and skills. Students can take the course over weekends without interfering with their full time work and to reduce the need of travelling and lodging for students from other areas. Sprained Ankle is one of the most prevalent sports injuries. In this seminar, manual therapy management of ankle sprain from acute to chronic stages will be discussed. Manual therapy techniques will be presented and demonstrated, including:

After attending the seminar, participants should understand the rationale and methods of manual therapy in preparation for the patient’s active rehabilitation.
